Windows 11 Install
Step 1: Download the Windows 11 ISO
- Visit the Microsoft website.
- Select the option to download the Windows 11 ISO file.
- Choose the appropriate version and language, then download the ISO file.
Step 2: Download and Install Rufus
Rufus is a popular tool for creating bootable USB drives.
- Go to the Rufus website.
- Download the latest version of Rufus.
- Install and run Rufus.
Step 3: Create the Bootable USB
- Insert the USB drive into your computer.
- Open Rufus. It should automatically detect your USB drive.
- Under "Boot selection," click "Select" and choose the Windows 11 ISO file you downloaded.
- Set the partition scheme to "GPT" (if you're using a UEFI-based system) or "MBR" (for older BIOS systems).
- Leave the rest of the settings at their default values.
- Click "Start" to begin the process.
Step 4: Install Windows 11
Once the bootable USB is ready, you can use it to install Windows 11 on your computer.
- Insert the USB drive into the computer where you want to install Windows 11.
- Restart the computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing a key like F2, F12, DEL, or ESC during startup).
- Change the boot order to prioritize the USB drive.
- Save the settings and exit the BIOS/UEFI.
- The computer will boot from the USB drive, and the Windows 11 installation process will begin.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
